Reaction: I think it would be very bad and embarrassing to not be able to speak your own language. I myself can only speak my own language but only can read a little. But even now I struggle to speak more smoother and fluent in my own language. Once you get fluent with your speaking you can move on to reading. Many of my friends from America can speak their own language once they come back. It gives their parents a hard time and forces them to sent you to a school that only speaks English. So in this article the Indonesian parents have to choose for their kids to learn English and to speak their main language improperly or sent them to a Indonesian school and speak English improperly.

Two Kinds
Reaction: I think that Two Kinds is a story that relates to Chinese families around the world. I think Chinese parents always want their sons or daughters to become a very famous or very successful person and become really rich when they get older. I know my parents do my mom wants me to become a doctor. Haha me a doctor no way. The difference between my parents and her mom in two kinds is my parents even tho they want me to doctor they still love me for me, but in this story the narrator feels like her mom doesn’t love the ways she is so I thought it was a interesting story to read.

Reaction: The reason I like this story is because it comes close to death. I mean i believe people wont change unless something bad or shocking happens to them to get them thinking the right way. Well I think the story It's you sitting on the edge of your seat. From the moment he went out of the window you start to wonder very hard if he is going to make it or not. So it has thrill in this story, also the good thing about this story is that the character changes his ways after facing a close death. That’s what gave me the idea that people wont change unless they lose something important to them or something bad out of ordinary happens to them. Then it hits them on the head and they realizes their mistake.
Movie Report
Reaction: My reaction with Rome is okay. I agree that it is a very beautiful city and has enormous structures and sculptures but it still doesn’t stop the fact that they were addicted with bloodshed and once they got really powerful they started to look down at other people and that’s what lead to one of the down off of Rome but they still manage to crawl back up and learn from their mistake. My hero or role model in ancient Rome was Cincinnatus he was a noble man that worked at his grain field. One day a Roman Messenger sent out to find and dictator and found Cincinnatus the mess engager told him that Rome is under attack and needs a dictator. He went and fought and won the battle for Rome and just the same day he became a dictator he resigned right after from his position and went back and started working on his grain field. I chose him because he shown me that not all people back then are selfish and self centered so that’s why I chose him. Rome history is famous even now in present day. Even the founding fathers studied Latin not as a dead language up as alive one and some of united states politic system are based on Rome. So thanks to Rome a lot was learned.
